Dr. Ram Kalus was born in Tel Aviv, Israel, and grew up in New York City from childhood. He was in practice in South Carolina from 1990-2017 when he relocated back to Tel Aviv. Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the Israeli Scientific Council of Medical Specialties Dr. Kalus is a senior attending at Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, an active member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) the Israeli Society of Aestheic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, the International Society of Plastic Surgery, and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He still returns periodically to his practice in Charleston, South Carolina. Dr. Kalus specializes in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, including immediate (DTI) and delayed breast reconstruction, “Mommy Makeovers” combining breast augmentation, labiaplasty, and abdominoplasty. Additionally, he specializes in aesthetic facial surgery, and facial reconstruction for skin cancers. He performs state-of-the-art surgical procedures with the highest level of precision to achieve superior results and a totally natural and “un-operated,” appearance.Dr. Kalus possesses a reputation for expertise and experience both nationally and internationally, making him one of the most respected plastic surgeons in Israel and the United States. Dr. Kalus is extremely proud of his twin boys currently serving in the IDF, and enjoys movies, theater, music of all genres, and both modern and classical art. He is an avid photographer, and enjoys traveling, as well as an active lifestyle with cycling, swimming, and walking his pine beagle Ozzie.
